Scott Beck and Bryan Woods: partners and friends

The directors of Haunt are a very powerful duo

Directors and screenwriters Scott Beck and Bryan Woods have known each other for almost a lifetime. Schoolmates from sixth grade in Bettendorf (Iowa), this duo began to experience the magic of cinema with a series of stop-motion movies with their Star Wars figures.

They were responsible for several short films and some feature films in high school.

With such experience, the film A quiet place (2018), directed and written by them was an immediate success. Starring Emily Blunt, it was acclaimed by the specialized critics.

In 2018, Beck and Woods were included by Variety magazine in the list of the 10 screenwriters to watch, not bad for this team that understands each other perfectly.

With such a background, it was almost obvious that the announcement of their next film Haunt would generate high expectations among all horror lovers.

Haunt. An adventure that may go wrong

Six friends visit a horror house during Halloween night to spend the American celebration in an unusual way.

The games and effects do not seem real, until they discover that not everything they see is a game.
